My mom's current calling is the Primary Chorister and yesterday she informed me of a pretty comical story about Wyatt. Apparently they had a few extra minutes to kill so she asked some of the kids what their favorite Primary song was to sing. Wyatt raised his hand and informed his grandma that he wanted to sing his favorite song "The Big Green Tractor Song". He was pretty frustrated with her when she wouldn't sing his favorite song in Primary :).
Wyatt and Livvy absolutely LOVE this song for some reason and have listened to it over and over and over- Thank you Aunt Hailey :). Livvy has nearly every word memorized and recognizes it from the first three chords and always yells "MOM- this is the big green tractor song- TURN IT UP!"
So for your listening and viewing enjoyment:

Turner Family Reunion at Downata Hot Springs/Twin Lakes
Last week we went from Island Park straight to Downata Hot Springs near Preston ID for the Turner Family Reunion. We had a great time seeing lots of family we don't see nearly often enough and swimming swimming swimming. We spent one full day at Twin Lakes and the kids loved playing on the beach.
Amber and Afton soaking up some rays with the kiddos- Tori and I (the preggos) enjoyed most of the day in the shade :)
Weston and Wyatt throwing rocks- Beware!
Laramie helped some of the girl cousins build some fun sand castles. Livvy is quite the construction boss I'll have you know.
Even my Grandparents got into the water fun- my Grandma and Grandpa Beck had also come up to spend some time with us there and Grandpa took a turn on the jet-ski.
Shelby and Wyatt went for a run on the tube behind the jet-ski and yes, they did fall off. I was kinda worried on the beach, but it didn't seem to bother Wyatt at all.
Livvy saved Daddy's shoes for him when the waves carried them away from the beach. Isn't her pink life jacket so dang cute?
Then my Grandma Turner went for a ride on the jet-ski behind Hailey. Go Grandma!
The rest of the time we spent at Downata Hot Springs swimming and enjoying the fun slides. Wyatt LOVED them big and small and really thought he was hot stuff going down them. The first time he went down the large one, he giggled the entire way down. Every time that he would shoot out the bottom he would already be saying "Can we do it again?"
Such a fun family reunion. As I look at the calendar and see that the time for summer is quickly coming to a close, I'm so glad that we got to have these fun little getaways to make some memories with our family. All work and no play make the Scoffields dull you know!

Island Park with the Scoffields
This last week was a busy one for us. It started by the kids going to visit Aunt Hailey and Uncle Blake in Rexburg for a couple days. Hailey has all kinds of fun pics she is supposed to send me, so when she does, I'll post them. They partied from sun-up to sun-down there. They loved every minute of it- so thanks guys!
Then on Friday Shelby and I loaded up the trailer and headed to Rexburg to pick up the kids and then we continued on to Island Park to camp with Shelby's extended family and a few friends. I didn't have my camera out very much because it poured on us the first two days we were there. Bummer! Normally we love doing outdoor things at Island Park like canoeing the river, 4-wheeler rides- floating the Box River Rapids, but this year we hid under the canopies and shivered alot. The coldest day we did load up in the truck and head for Yellowstone. I have never been to Yellowstone and neither have my kids, so we were excited. Here Wyatt and Livvy are showing off their 'maps' to all the animals we hoped to see, but didn't :). But living where we do, we see animals all the time, so we got over it.
We stopped at the Paint Pots and walked around to see the different hot pots. Wyatt thought they were really cool with the bubbly mud and pretty blue water with lots of steam.
Then we headed up to Old Faithful and had lunch and shopped a bit. Livvy was pretty excited to watch the giant fountain explode. She couldn't even turn around from watching it for a quick family picture. The sun did come out on Sunday finally. Aunt Nancy braided all of the girl's hair and they all looked so cute being the same.
Then Auntie Em planned a fun surprise for the kids in which she pretended the Sugar Plum Fairy had invaded our camp and left lots of candy hidden in the woods. The kids loved finding it. Uncle Steven helped Wyatt out quite a bit because he only wanted the candy that was hidden high up in the trees.
I love camping with Shelby's family and wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the sunshine that came after we left- but we were headed off to the Turner Family Reunion on Monday at Downata Hot Springs and Twin Lakes.....more fun adventures to follow!

Steven and Nancy's Wedding
I finally got some pictures from the wedding of Shelby's little brother Steven to Nancy in June. None of these are from the actual wedding photographer- but from Shelby's cousin Adam who just took some random shots for us. Thanks Adam!
The Open House in Tremonton was held the night before the wedding. The above picture is Livvy running around with Taylee and Jocee- two of her favorite girls ever.
The Scoffield Fam with Grandpa Christensen and below is our family complete with the cut-out of Elder Shane Scoffield who we missed so bad, but will be home in a few months!
Two little piggies finally slowed down enough to eat and below is Fallon and Laramie- my two little sisters who came for the weekend to chase boys and help babysit my monkeys. I don't know what I would have done without you guys- you're the best!
Hailey and Blake- crazy newlyweds :)
The next day at the temple-
Wyatt and Livvy just wanted to watch the waterfalls and fountains- in case you can't tell from all of our faces, it was scorching hot, but really beautiful.
Hopefully we'll get all the pictures from the photographer soon so that you can see some more- I know that those of you who live further away and didnt' get to go have been waiting for some pictures- but at least now you have a taste!
