Cub Scout Day Camp

I got to go to Wyatt's first Cub Scout Day Camp this year. He had such a blast  shooting BB guns, playing volleyball, floating in a paddle boat, and doing crafts.  He had a lot of fun and thought he was so darn cute all day.

New School Year 2012

What crazy cute kids I have! Wyatt started 2nd grade this year and Livvy started 1st grade.  I don't know what was up with Wyatt's crazy faces that day- but I absolutely could not get him to give me a normal smile! Ike was sure that he was going to school with Wyatt. He had to pack his own backpack with his 'gym shoes' and the only way that I dragged him out of the school was by promising him that we would take his Daddy a donut.  It was a close call.  It's been a great start to what I am hoping is a great year.

4th of July

The 4th of July started with a Ward Breakfast and Flag Ceremony.  Wyatt practiced with the scouts for days to perfect their ceremony and he looked so handsome in his uniform.  We then spent the day hanging out with the family at the river and ended the day with sparklers and fireworks.  Family Traditions are one of my favorite things about summer.

Swimming Lessons

My kiddos have always been little fish.  They love to swim and we spend lots of time in the water. Livvy passed Level 2 this year and Wyatt passed Level 3.  They worked so hard and improved a lot.  Ike is not quite old enough for lessons yet, so I got to spend my time on the sidelines entertaining him. I was very glad when the two weeks were up :)!

End of School Year Fun!

Yes- I know that the 2012-2013 school year just started, but I need to catch up on the 2011-2012 school year first!

Livvy completely loved kindergarten!  She made so many friends and loved learning new things.  She had a blast at the 'Field Day' at the end of the year and did such a great job at her Kindergarten Graduation!

Wyatt totally rocked 1st grade and we could not have been more proud with how much he learned and improved, the friendships he made, and how much he grew!  Below are his fun pictures from Field Day.

Sue the dinosaur

Wyatt and I have been traveling to Idaho Falls every other week to do some vision therapy. We always try to find something fun to do while we are there so that it makes the long trip more fun. Last week we went to the museum of Idaho to see their Dinosaur exhibit. It was awesome! Wyatt was totally enthralled! The tyrannosaurus Rex was so huge! She was as large as a semi truck with a trailer. It was amazing. He also loves the Idaho history part of the museum that taught alot about hunters of the past and Indians.

Wyatt Baptism

My sweet Wyatt was baptized April 7, 2012.  It was such an amazing day.  We had been planning for a month and Wyatt was beyond excited.  Thank you so much to all of the family and friends that traveled  to support Wyatt and our family.  My little boy did not move a muscle during the speakers and hung on their every word- Grandpa Turner talked on baptism and Uncle Shane talked on the Holy Ghost.  Aunt Fallon sang a beautiful song.

Grandma and Grandpa Beck traveled up from Salt Lake

Grandma and Grandpa Turner - don't they all look so excited!
They gave Wyatt his first set of real scriptures with his name engraved on them. He was so thrilled and will not let them out of his grasp at church.
I'm not sure why these two look so serious- maybe they were starting to get nervous?

Ike wanted to go run and play with his cousins- he didn't like his mother's idea for a family picture.
Grandma Wendy came to support Wyatt too- she gave Wyatt his handsome orange tie and a CTR tie tack-he said it was just what a missionary would wear. Grandpa Jon was out of the state on business- but we sure missed him!
Wyatt loves his Uncle Shane and Aspen- Shane has always been his idol.
The whole Scoffield side of the family!  The Turner side was missing a few people- and it's a circus to take a picture of that many people :)
The munchkins at the baptism- cousins and friends- making funny faces :)

Shelby and I were so proud of Wyatt. It was hard to believe that we were already at this stage in our family, but Wyatt is such an incredible example of kindness, love, obedience, and hard work.  He is such an amazing boy and I am so proud to be his mama.

What Shelby will do for $50!

Over Easter weekend we went fishin as a family. The fish weren't biting and we were getting a bit bored. Fallon and I jokingly told Shelby that if he would jump in the freezing cold water that we would pay him $50. He jumped right up and started measuring how deep the water was with a fishin pole and then did a cannonball in! The water was so cold that he couldn't breathe or climb out by himself! I wasn't much help as I was snapping pictures while trying not to pee my pants from laughing hysterically. Needless to say we loaded up and took him home to a hot shower, but that entertainment was worth every penny!
