It's official! Shelby and I had our first training last night to be tour guides for the Twin Falls Temple Open House. We will be serving on July 17th and July 26th for two five hours shifts each day. We will be working in couples with one of us leading the tour and the other bringing up the stragglers to make sure the tour all stays together. It's really cool for Shelby and I because if there are any Spanish speakers then Shelby will be in the back of the tour translating for them and I'll lead the rest in English. It's really overwhelming to think that tours will start there every 5 minutes and there will be about 350 people going through the temple every hour! Reviewing all the information that they gave us is really kinda fun, but scary to think how careful we need to be with terms that we use like a second language like "brothers and sisters". Anyway- we have our first glimpse of the temple inside on Sunday where we'll get more official training inside the temple. We are just so excited that we can't stand it and are so grateful for this opportunity to serve in the open house and hopefully meet some really wonderful people.

That is so awesome. I wish I could do something like that, but I think it will be a while before we get another temple in our neck of the woods. Have fun!
